On May 6, 2024, the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation into an adult subject after he allegedly requested sexual photos and engaged in sexual conversation with what he believed to be a child online. After being positively identified as 33-year-old Evan Brookes Shannon of Fort Worth, Texas, an arrest warrant was obtained and entered into NCIC. Read this story
