Las Vegas police released new documents Wednesday that offer a glimpse into the horror and chaos of the October massacre that left 58 people dead.

About 1,200 pages of witness interviews made public revealed details on the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. They include statements from victims after the shooting and people who encountered gunman Stephen Paddock before he opened fire from his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
