Renovated lighthouse looks like a 'war zone' after nor'easter and it could get worse -

The nor'easter which hit the region caused extensive damage to a protective sand dune near an historic Delaware Bay lighthouse.

After Friday's nor'easter struck the region, the keepers of the historic East Point Lighthouse along the Delaware Bay shoreline felt they had weathered the worst of the storm.

"I thought we were out of the woods," said Nancy Patterson, president of the group which maintains the lighthouse in Maurice River Township, Cumberland County.
