The complex -- a three-story hub with classrooms, an underground parking garage, administrative offices, cafeteria, gymnasium, a 400-seat theater and three extensions -- is expected to be open in time for the 2018-19 school year.

The new High Tech School, being built in Secaucus, will be the gem of high schools in Hudson County, Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli said after touring the facility this week.
