Monsanto case: Bay Area man with cancer awarded $289 million in damages

A jury awarded $289 million in damages Friday to a former Bay Area school groundskeeper, finding that his cancer was caused by on-the-job exposure to a Monsanto Co. herbicide, the world's most widely used weed-killer.
