At least 18 people were shot, two fatally in citywide shootings Thursday.

The fatal attacks occurred less than two hours apart in Englewood and the Near North Side. At least two people were killed and 16 others — including a 16-year-old boy — were wounded by gun violence in Chicago Thursday.

Eleven of the attacks happened over seven hours at the end of the day. Five people were shot in Englewood Thursday, three in the South Loop.
