Each year the Brainerd Dispatch and Echo Journal, along with representatives from local businesses, visit elementary classrooms to share information about designing a newspaper ad and specific information about the business assigned to their class. The students get busy and create original ads. The ads are brought back to the businesses who select one ad to run in the special Kid’s Ad Design edition.
