The Air India has reduced its free check-in baggage allowance from 20 kg to 15 kg for the lowest economy fare segment on domestic flights. Such a reduction is part of the Tata Group-owned Air India’s menu-based pricing model that brings the airline’s pricing at part with other airliners like IndiGo, Vistara, and SpiceJet.
