Nearly Foot of Snow Closes Gov't Offices, Many Schools

The D.C. area is digging out on Monday from nearly a foot of snow, leaving roads slick, federal offices closed and most schools with a snow day. 

This is the biggest storm to hit the area since the blizzard of January 2016.
