Blue Jays, Twins hire managers

Two more managerial openings were filled Thursday, as the Twins selected former Tampa Bay outfielder Rocco Baldelli to succeed Paul Molitor and the Blue Jays chose Tampa Bay bench coach Charlie Montoyo to succeed John Gibbons.

Baldelli and Montoyo join the Reds' David Bell as managers who were hired this offseason despite having no major-league experience at the position. The Angels hired an experienced manager in Brad Ausmus to fill their opening.
