Metro Adds Free Bus Service for Pass Holders Starting July 1

The D.C. Metro system is rolling out new passes to include free bus service and increasing service at some Red and Yellow Line stations starting Monday.

The transit system said free Metrobus service will now be included in all Metrorail passes and it will lower the price of four of those passes: the 7-Day Unlimited, the 7-Day Short Trip, the 7-Day Regional Bus and the 1-Day Unlimited Pass.
