Novak Djokovic and Aitana Bonmatí won world sportsman and sportswoman of the year at the Laureus Awards while Jude Bellingham claimed breakthrough of the year. Bonmatí picked up sportswoman of the year, becoming the first footballer to win the award; and also won with the Spain women's team, who won world team of the year.
