Throughout 2020, Democrats embraced one of their more extreme policy positions in recent memory: defunding the police. Two years later, the results have been predictable. Crime has spiked, especially in cities that actually took law enforcement off the streets. It turns out that criminals prefer when there are no police around. They have Democrats to thank.
