The North Vermilion Lady Patriots have a challenge Friday in the semifinals of the Non-Select Division II LHSAA softball playoffs. They battle the No. 1 seed, North DeSoto Griffins, on Friday at noon. The game will be played on Field 15 at North Frach Park in Sulphur.
