GM's first female CFO explains how she's made it her mission to 'slay complexity' at the largest US automaker (GM)

Dhivya Suryadevara, 40, is the first female CFO of a major US automaker.

She joins Mary Barra, CEO of General Motors, as one half of the only all-women C-suite team in the business.

Suryadevara was born in India, came to the US to attend Harvard Business School, and worked on Wall Street before joining GM.

With Barra and the GM leadership team, Suryadevara is working to transform a 111-year-old company with vast global operations and $150 billion in annual revenue.
