Ibrahim Albashir has been charged with attempted murder after a woman in her 30s was badly injured following the unprovoked assault on Otley Road, Headingley, on the evening of March 17. Albashir, who is from Sudan, appeared at Leeds Crown Court today via video link from HMP Lincoln where he is being held on remand.
