Driver suspected of DUI, speeding in North Las Vegas crash that killed woman

According to North Las Vegas police, the woman, who was in her 30s, was not in a marked crosswalk when she was struck around 8 p.m. Monday on Las Vegas Boulevard south of Belmont Street. She was transported to UMC Trauma where she died from her injuries. The driver of the Hyundai Sonata who struck her is identified as 63-year-old Timmy Cormier.
