Colombian President Gustavo Petro asked residents in Bogotá to escape this weekend and help conserve water. The main reservoir that provides water to the city is currently 15 percent full as the country deals with effects of a months long drought due to El Niño. The city rolled out a plan April 11 that rations water across the city by splitting it into nine zones and cutting water in each zone for 24 hours on a rotating basis
