Man found alive after his car plummeted 200 feet off Bay Area cliff

A man whose vehicle plummeted 200 feet off a cliff along the Sonoma County coast on Sunday was found alive and rescued by a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office helicopter unit after a 55-minute search, the agency said in a post on social media. The post said the man’s vehicle, a Ford, automatically alerted police to the crash around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning.
