Karnataka man allegedly assaulted for composing song praising PM Modi
WION -

A man in India’s Mysuru, Karnataka, was allegedly assaulted after he composed a song, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The claims are yet to be verified by police but Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) blamed “fanatical Jihadi goons” for the attack and targeted Congress for turning Karnataka into a “crime state.” Rohit Kumar, a YouTuber hailing from Mellahalli village in Mandya district, shared the song with some of his acquaintances and asked them to subscribe to his channel.
