Celtic’s safe passage into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup wasn’t without wider meaning. Pursuit of a third domestic treble in succession has been overshadowed by the flitting of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester; acrimony and rancour was rife in the build-up to this potentially tricky tie at Hibernian.
