Seneca Knight scored 28 points to help San Jose State, which was held without a field goal in the last 7 minutes, 7 seconds of play, trim Nevada 70-68 on Wednesday at the Event Center.

The Spartans (6-11, 2-3 Mountain West), who trailed by eight points in the second half but then led by seven with 4:21 remaining in the game, hit 12 free throws after Knight's 3-pointer ended their scoring from the field.

Jalen Harris had 20 points to lead the Wolf Pack (10-6, 3-1).
