I will begin by saying the NHL is doing me absolutely no favors with the scheduling of the second round as it relates to this contest. We are 24 hours (give or take) from Game 1 of the Hurricanes/Rangers series, and we still don’t know the matchups for fully half of the second round series. (Not only that, but we won’t even know the Avalanche’s opponent until after the Canes and Rangers finish the first game of the second round!)
